This post is about styling one of my absolute favorite basic tees 3 ways. This tee is a Kohl's tee- S.O. brand juniors sizing. It comes in a variety of cuts and colors and after trying nearly every basic tee out there, I always come back to these. They are extremely soft and versatile. During the last year with COVID I lived in basic tees like this and they are a hard thing to give up now, however you can totally dress them up and wear them many ways so there is no need to give up your comfy basic tees just yet!
The best part about these tees is that they are nearly always on sale but even without a sale they are around $15. The V necks or relaxed pocket tees are my two favorites. Here are three ways to style a basic tee.
1) This first looks is simple, casual, comfortable and cute. I have paired this tee here with some mom jeans and studded sandals for a simple yet put together look. You could recreate this look with any jeans and sandals you already have too!
2) This second look is much more summery and perfect as we transition to warmer weather. I have it paired here with some casual black shorts, my favorite denim jacket, and quilted slides. This would be great for dinner with friends, brunch, running errands, or anything your heart desires really. Its functional and as the weather warms up you can take your jacket off and tie it around your waist. Simple and summery!
3) Another fun Spring and Summery look here. This is super similar to the first outfit but I have paired it here with white jeans, and tied the tee up to give it a little bit more flair. I love a good front tuck with these tees but sometimes I actually prefer a knotted look as seen here. It depends on what I am doing. Again a super easy and comfortable look but put together enough to go out to eat, or go shopping in.
I really enjoy buying pieces that I will continue to wear over and over again. This tee is a staple for me and even though I used to think camo print was more of a fall vibe, I think you can definitely rock it all year round, and I plan to!
