Happy hump day everyone! This waffle knit tie front tunic has been a staple in my wardrobe since last fall. It is perfect to dress up a bit for a date night/dinner out look or keep super casual. This mauve color is beautiful too and so transitional from fall to winter. This top is also beautiful for a summer into fall transition piece with shorts. So many possibilities for this cutie!
I love the waffle knit print, it is super on trend right now. My mom will never let me live down that I now wear waffle knit tops as I used to tell her when I was in high school not to wear them because they weren't "cool". Sorry mom! 🙂 Now my own collection of waffle knit tops has been growing quite rapidly! I think they are perfectly comfortable and cozy still fashionable.
This top definitely runs a bit small in my opinion. It appears in the stock images to be baggy and oversized but I did not find it to be that way. I am wearing my true size medium here. I don't mind the fit, however if you are wanting that oversized look as the image shows you may want to size up 1 or 2 depending how loose fitting you would like it. With that being said, it does have decent length to it though. I could wear this with leggings. It is light weight and versatile but just to note it is a bit sheer.
I am wearing my favorite Old Navy jeans here, ya know the ones with the elastic waistband 😉. The look of jeans with the comfort of leggings. They hug you in all the right places and are so versatile.
Lastly these boots are a new purchase. If you know you me, you know that I do not like to spend a lot of money on anything! I am as frugal as they come. I have been searching for an affordable pair of new tan booties like this that resemble the popular Vince Camuto block heel bootie. I ended up finding these as a great dupe at Kohls! I only paid $14 for them and I couldn't be happier with the way they look and wear. Currently they are marked down from $49.99 to $24.99 but you know that Kohl's loves to run sales all the time. Keep checking back on these for a lower price if $25 is still too steep (I totally get it!).
